Powell, PE, department manager for structural and land development at Scott Consulting Engineers PC in Springfield was elected as a board of directors' representative to the executive committee of the Missouri Society of Professional Engineers. As one of two representatives of the board of directors on the committee, Powell is part of the society's seven-member governing and decision-making body. Brad R. Parrish, PE, cofounder and vice president of Palmerton & Parrish Inc. in Springfield, was installed as treasurer of the Missouri Society of Professional Engineers during the MSPE's 65th annual convention, held in June in Springfield.
