Davis, Lynn & Moots PC hired certified public accountant Corey Brown as an in-charge accountant for tax and accounting services and Ryan Lohman as a staff accountant for audit services.

Banking and Finance
Empire Bank promoted Justin Loveday to vice president, banking center manager and loan officer for the bank’s Fair Grove and Pleasant Hope branches. Loveday is responsible for managing the branch retail operations and business development as well as the origination and maintenance of consumer loans. He has seven years of banking and lending experience and holds an MBA from Southwest Baptist University.

Liberty Bank hired Clint Caffey as a vice president. Caffey has worked in banking since 2003 and served as vice president of Hawthorn Bank for six years.

Pension Consultants Inc. was named one of PlanAdviser’s 2013 Top 100 Advisers. The client-nominated list measures the number of plans managed and the dollar value of qualified plan assets.

Engineering
Olsson Associates Inc. named Nancy Wichmer marketing coordinator for its Springfield and Manhattan, Kan., offices. Wichmer, who holds a bachelor’s in business administration from Truman State University, has worked in the engineering industry for 20 years.

Health Care
Kevin Rash, vice president of operations at Mercy Hospital Springfield, received the American College of Healthcare Executives Early Career Healthcare Executive Regent’s Award at the Missouri Hospital Association’s annual convention.
