Banking and Finance Guaranty Bank hired Nick Lofaro as vice president and chief technology officer. Lofaro, who holds a bachelor’s in information technology from National American University, most recently worked as vice president and chief information officer at Liberty Bank. He has 12 years of banking experience and 20 years of IT experience.
Education Angela Carr, learning management system support specialist at Southwest Baptist University, received a Jane N. Ryland Fellowship to attend the Educause Institute Learning Technology Leadership Program in Philadelphia. As part of Carr’s selection, she will train SBU faculty on the program and produce supporting materials.
Engineering Malone Finkle Eckhardt & Collins Inc. hired Nathan Riley, Tyler Enserro and Brian Artzer as project managers. With 10 years of related experience, Riley specializes in renovation projects. Enserro, who holds a bachelor’s in architectural engineering, supports prototypes, education and general business initiatives. With 10 years working in the health care industry, Artzer focuses on health care and education projects.

Allison Rhodes, director of Mercy Central Credentials Verification Service, was elected as president-elect for the Missouri Association of Medical Staff Services. Her term as president begins Jan. 1, 2016.
Media Sports broadcaster Ned Reynolds received the 2014 Legend Award from the Missouri Sports Hall of Fame. Reynolds retired this month from NBC-affiliate KY3 after 47 years, but he plans to continue as play-by-play announcer for televised Springfield Cardinals games and as co-host of “The Sports Reporters” on Jock 98.7-FM. On Jan. 25, the Hall of Fame will unveil Reynolds’ bronze bust during the annual enshrinement ceremonies.
Nonprofit Gary Camp of Springfield Advocates for Youth was named 2014 Volunteer of the Year for the Price Cutter Charity Championship and the nationwide Web.com Tour. With the national award, Camp receives $5,000 for his charity of choice.
Convoy of Hope received a $25,000 donation from Ashley Furniture HomeStore for the nonprofit’s FeedOne Initiative. The company matched customer donations of $20 to receive 20 percent off their purchases at Ashley Furniture stores in Springfield, Joplin, and Springdale and Rogers, Ark. Employees also contributed to the campaign that will help Convoy of Hope feed more than 200 children for a year.
