Shoptaw, who has more than two decades of banking experience, was promoted to serve as branch manager of the company’s 535 W. Fir Road location in Carthage.

Dr. Gary R. Highfill joined Citizens Memorial Hospital’s medical staff. An otolaryngologist with more than 24 years of experience, Highfill earned his medical degree from the University of Missouri School of Medicine and completed a general surgery internship and an otolaryngology residency at Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center.
Emily Long joined the medical staff at CMH’s Willard Medical Center and Walk-In Clinic. Long, who has more than eight years of nursing experience, has a bachelor’s in nursing and a nursing practice doctorate from Missouri State University.
Citizens Memorial Health Care and its Colonial Springs Healthcare Center hired Krystal Colvin as a member of the Buffalo skilled nursing center’s medical staff. An advanced practice clinician, Colvin has more than 27 years of nursing experience. She has a bachelor’s in nursing and a family nurse practitioner master’s from Missouri State University.
Certified psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner Brooke Tabor joined the staff at CMH’s Ash Grove Family Medical Center and Humansville Family Medical Center. Tabor has a bachelor’s in nursing from the University of Central Missouri and a psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner master’s from Cox College.
Dr. S. Craig Morris, an orthopedic surgeon and sports medicine specialist at CMH Orthopedic & Spine Center, was certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. Morris completed five years in an accredited orthopedic residency program and passed examinations to earn the certification. Morris, who earned his degree from the University of Utah School of Medicine, completed a residency in orthopedic surgery at Loma Linda University Medical Center and a fellowship in orthopedic sports medicine at the Cedars-Sinai Kerlan-Jobe Institute.

The Victim Center Inc. promoted Anne Crites to assistant executive director from assistant director. An employee with the nonprofit for more than seven years, Crites has a bachelor’s from Lawrence University and a master’s from Dartmouth College

Amy Molea-Koppitz, co-founder of 417 Property Pros at Keller Williams Greater Springfield, was awarded the 2024 Community Top Referral Rainmaker in the annual KW Relocation Awards. The honor is on the Keller Williams global level for Molea-Koppitz, who has been a real estate agent through the company for nearly seven years.
