Architects

and Engineers

Mark A. Logan, PE, joined ESC Inc. Engineers and Architects. Logan is a civil/structural engineer with 19 years of experience in civil/structural and civil/land development engineering in the manufacturing and consulting fields.

Glen K. Halley, PE, joined Heideman + Associates Inc. as an electrical engineer. Halley brings with him eight years of experience in planning, design, specification, construction administration and systems testing. Halley attended North Dakota University and earned his bachelor of science in electrical engineering in 1991 from the University of Missouri-Rolla.

Scott R. Sloan of Slone Architects received architectural registration from the Missouri Board of Architects, Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors. Sloan is a graduate of Drury University and is design manager for the Certified Metals Inc. of Springfield and Hometown Bank in Neosho projects.

Interior Design

Rachel Davis joined Habersham Interiors as a designer. Davis, a graduate of Southwest Missouri State University, has more than 11 years of experience in both residential and commercial design.

Mary A. Martin, an interior designer with Final Touch Interiors passed the spring 2000 administration of the National Council for Interior Design Qualification examination. Martin has a bachelor of science degree in housing and interior design from Southwest Missouri State University and many years of retail experience with decorating products and interior design service.

Contractors

Increte of the Ozarks announced that the following contractors attended an intensive training session at Increte's international headquarters in Tampa, Fla.: Fil and Beth McKenzie with Custom Concrete Surfaces, Kevin Phillips with Phillips Concrete, Dennis and Debbie Wells with Concrete LLC and Lance Martin with Martin Concrete. By attending this training, these contractors have added the use of decorative concrete to their skills.

Dock Brothers Construction Company was appointed by Butler Manufacturing Company as an authorized builder for the Springfield and southwest Missouri area. Butler is the nation's leading manufacturer of pre-engineered metal buildings for commercial, industrial and retail building applications.

Real Estate

Carol Jones, Realtors, announced the completion of the Quick Start to Success class by Don Bousheri, Deb Evanson, Charles Cambron, Shad Richardson, ZiZi Saad, Teri Osburn, Joe Pully and Gina Bennetti. The class, designed by top-producing agents Jim Bolin and Carol Jones, is designed to jump start new and intermediate agents in the field of real estate by providing them with the essential skills and information used by the most successful agents nationwide.

John R.M. Nelson Surveying Inc. in Bolivar is now an affiliate of U.S. Surveyor, a residential and commercial land surveying service, under the U.S. Surveyor Affiliate and Contract Surveyor Program.
