Julia Anderson was appointed vice president and general manager for Alltel's local telephone and wireless operations in Missouri. She replaces Dan Phee, who was named to a similar position in New Orleans. Anderson previoulsy was the director of Alltel's customer service center in Harrison, Ark. She joined the company in 1985 at its Dixon repair service center. In her new position, Anderson is responsible for local telephone service and wireless operations in 44 counties of northern, southeast and southwest Missouri. Robert Hill joined KPM Technology LLC as a system engineer. He is a Cisco-certified network associate and a Microsoft certified professional. Hill is a graduate of Southwest Missouri State University, where he earned a degree in finance. He has experience with optimizing information technology infrastructures in banks and integrating systems across multiple platforms. Terry Touhey received the Educator of the Year Award at the Learning Disability Association of Missouri State Conference, which was held in October at the Chateau on the Lake in Branson. Jasen Jones was appointed the administrative director for the Workforce Investment Board of Southwest Missouri, effective Dec. 1. Based at the Missouri Career Center in Joplin, wiith a satellite office in Monett, the WIB oversees work-force development interests of Dade, Lawrence, Barry, McDonald, Newton, Jasper and Barton counties. |ret||ret||tab|
