Ron Ollis was named vice chairman of the board of directors for Springfield Trust Company. Ollis, CEO of Ollis & Company, is a member of the National Advisory Board for Hartford, Aetna, Cigna, St. Paul, Continental and CAN Insurance companies.
Citizens National Bank of Springfield announced three employee promotions.
Pat Matthews was promoted to branch operations officer, overseeing operations at the new CNB branch at 2960 E. Kearney. Matthews, who attended Southwest Missouri State University, has 42 years of banking experience, the last seven with CNB.
Lisa Markle is the new branch operations officer with CNB at 3212 S. Glenstone, where she supervises and trains tellers and new accounts personnel. Markle earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from SMSU. She has been employed with CNB for four years, and is a board member of the Center for Financial Training, a part of the American Bankers Association Degree Program.
Marsha Foster was promoted to accounting and human resources officer for CNB. Her duties include assisting with financial accounting and overseeing human resources administration for all four CNB locations. A bank employee for nearly 11 years, Foster earned her bachelor's degree in finance from Northwest Missouri State University.
Michael Homeyer joined Bank of America as a senior vice president and senior client manager in commercial banking. Homeyer is responsible for business development and client management for middle-market commercial clients, serving customers in the southwest Missouri market. Homeyer has 10 years of banking experience, recently as a senior vice president in commercial lending at U.S. Bank. He has a master's of business administration degree concentrating in finance from St. Louis University and a bachelor's degree in economics and business administration from Drury University.
Food
Kim Harris was named community relations coordinator for the southwest Missouri market for Panera Bread/Traditional Bakery Inc., covering the Springfield, Branson and Joplin bakery-cafes. She is responsible for the development of community partnerships with neighboring schools and nonprofit organizations. She also helps manage Operation Dough-Nation programs and coordinates fundraising events and media communications. Harris has more than 12 years of experience in fundraising, event planning and marketing and local business development. Her work history includes several local radio stations. In 2003, she was director of development and community relations for Springfield Little Theatre.
Insurance
Trevor Crist, a health insurance producer for Nixon & Lindstrom Insurance, earned the registered health underwriter designation. Candidates for the designation must complete three courses and six hours of supervised examinations on subject matter that includes group and individual health insurance and managed care.
Nick Love, president of Love Insurance and Financial Services Inc. was recognized by Michigan-based American Community Mutual Insurance Company as one of its top-performing independent agents of 2002. Finishing in the top 20, Love is a member of American Community's Crystal Club, an exclusive group of the company's highest producers.
