Stan Triplett was promoted to senior vice president of the commercial real estate division of Commerce Bank. Triplett is responsible for managing all aspects of commercial and residential construction lending, including managing and developing client relationships. He has been with Commerce Bank for 23 years. Scott Tumlin was promoted to commercial real estate lender at Commerce Bank. Tumlin is responsible for developing and managing customer relationships related to commercial and residential construction lending products and services. He has 13 years of experience in banking, lending and credit management. Tumlin previously served as Commerce Bank's small-business banking specialist.

Denise Bench joined Sterling Trust as an assistant vice president. She has 18 years of experience in banking and trust. Bench is responsible for trust administration and estate settlement activities.

Peoples Bank of the Ozarks announced two staff additions. Marc Mayer joined the company as a loan officer at the Springfield location. Mayer is a graduate of Drury University, where he earned a bachelor of arts degree in public relations. He also holds a master's in business administration from Henderson State University. He has previous experience with mortgage lending in the Springfield market.

Robin Rees joined Peoples Bank of the Ozarks as business development and community relations representative for the Nixa, Clever and Springfield areas. Rees, a graduate of Kickapoo High School, has seven years of banking experience and 12 years of customer service experience. In her new position, she is a liaison between the bank and local businesses and organizations.

Jana Humble, senior vice president with Union Planters Bank, was selected as one of the top 25 associates out of 598 nominations for the Union Planters Bank UP Best Award in the Midwest region. Humble, who works in Ozark, has been with Union Planters for 19 years. She was nominated by coworkers and judged on nine core values: client experience, client focus, integrity, teamwork, continuous improvement, continuous learning, balance, long-term focus and rewarding stakeholders. She will be honored Sept. 16 at a banquet in St. Louis.

Eric K. Peterson, certified financial planner, recently returned from the Securities America National broker dealer conference in Chicago. The four-day conference included breakout sessions with professional guest speakers who discussed investment, retirement and estate planning issues. While in Chicago, he was invited to sail the National Offshore One Design Regatta, presented by the Chicago Yacht Club.

Health care

Dr. Louis Krenn joined CoxHealth Center-Willard. Krenn, a family practice physician, attended medical school at University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. He completed his residency at Cox Family Practice Residency. He has a special interest in sports medicine, preventive medicine and computers in medicine.

Ferrell-Duncan Clinic announced the addition of two physicians to its staff.

Dr. Patricia L. Bell joined the otolaryngology department of Ferrell-Duncan Clinic. Bell attended medical school and completed her residency at the University of Missouri-Columbia.

Dr. Scott W. Grisolano joined Ferrell-Duncan's gastroenterology department. He attended medical school at the University of Kansas in Kansas City, Kan. Grisolano completed a residency and fellowship at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn.

St. John's Clinic announced the addition of several new physicians. Dr. David Delahay joined St. John's Clinic-Anesthesiology. He received his medical education at University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma City and completed a residency in anesthesiology at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, N.C.

Dr. Amanda Dinsmore joined St. John's Clinic-Emergency Medicine. She went to medical school at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine in Oklahoma City and Tulsa. She completed a residency in emergency medicine at Wake Forest University.

Dr. Stephanie Ferri joined St. John's Clinic-Emergency Medicine. She previously was with Covenant Health Care Emergency Care Center in Saginaw, Mich. She received her medical education at Ross University School of Medicine in Dominica, West Indies and New York. She completed her residency at Saginaw Cooperative Hospitals.

Dr. Tim E. Frederick joined St. John's Clinic-Neurology. He previously served as assistant professor in clinical neurology and co-director of Tulane Epilepsy Institute at Tulane Medical School. Frederick received his medical degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans and he completed an internship in internal medicine at University of Miami-affiliated hospitals in Florida. He completed a residency in neurology at Louisiana State University School of Medicine and a fellowship in epilepsy at University of Minnesota in Minneapolis.

Dr. Eric J. Fulnecky joined St. John's Clinic-Infectious Disease. He received his medical education at Howard University College of Medicine in Washington, D.C. Fulnecky completed a residency in internal medicine at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis and a fellowship in infectious disease at Washington Hospital Center in Washington, D.C.

Dr. Thomas Lewis joined St. John's Clinic-Emergency Medicine. He earned his medical degree at Kansas University School of Medicine in Kansas City and Wichita, Kan. Lewis completed a residency in emergency medicine at Synergy Medical Education Alliance/Michigan State University in Saginaw.

Dr. Todd Nielsen joined St. John's Clinic-Oral Surgery. He received his medical education at Creighton University in Omaha, Neb., and a dental residency in Fort Benning, Ga., and an oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at Ft. Gordon, Ga.
