Reliable Toyota received the 2003 Toyota Motor Sales President's Award, which recognizes dealerships that have demonstrated a commitment to maintaining Toyota's standards for customer satisfaction. Qualifying dealerships must excel in product delivery and customer care in all areas of dealership operations. It is the fifth year Reliable has received the award. The dealership also was recognized for its role in providing ongoing community support with Breast Cancer Foundation of the Ozarks.

Aviation

Branson Airport LLC, owner of Branson Airport Authority and developer of the planned Branson Regional Airport, has named Charles V. Stipancic as its CEO. He also serves as chief operating officer of Aviation Facilities Co. of McLean, Va. Aviation Facilities Co. and its investors are the majority shareholders of Branson Airport LLC. In his new position, Stipancic is primarily responsible for securing the necessary financing to move the project forward. He also provides oversight of the planning, design, construction and operation of the airport.

Construction

Fran Morin joined Larry Snyder and Co. as chief estimator. He prepares estimates for building projects using Timberline Estimating Software and assists in design and preliminary specifications of design/build projects and communicating with subcontractors.

Education

Breech School of Business Administration at Drury University announced the addition of two new faculty members. Kenneth L. Johnson joined the faculty as associate professor of accounting. He received a doctorate in business administration from Louisiana Tech University, with fields of emphasis in accounting, marketing and economics. During his career, Johnson has been employed in public and corporate accounting positions, progressing to senior partner status. He also has served as department chair of the accounting department at Harding University and he was president of Rochester College, where, during his tenure, the college grew from 250 students to more than 1,000 students.

Amy C. Lewis, PhD, joined the school's faculty as assistant professor of business. She earned her PhD in social psychology from Indiana University-Bloomington. Lewis most recently was visiting assistant professor in the David Eccles School of Business at the University of Utah, where she did post-doctoral research in organizational behavior. Her research interests lie in evaluations of social targets, stereotypes and stigma, ironic bias against in-group members, identity, and anticipated regret.

Engineering

Paula Brookshire, PE, joined Mettemeyer Engineering LLC as a project manager and as head of its new civil engineering services division. She has experience in commercial site and residential subdivision development, which will complement the services provided by the firm.

Senior services

Montclair Retirement Community announced two staff additions. Martha Roy joined the company as leasing director. She has 12 years of experience in the senior housing field. Most recently, Roy was Montclair's full-time nurse through Oxford Home HealthCare. She has a bachelor's degree in business administration and is a licensed nurse.

Theresa Sharp joined Montclair's marketing department as marketing coordinator. She has worked in the senior housing field for the past 15 years. Sharp has a bachelor's degree in public relations with a printing technology minor. In her new position, Sharp is involved in community relations and event planning.
