Butler, Rosenbury & Partners promoted Christopher Swan to leader of the firm’s civic and community studio. The Drury University graduate has been with BRP for nine years. The civic and community studio focuses on publicly funded and community-oriented facilities for local governments, school districts, higher learning institutions, churches and preservation of historic buildings.

Banking

Empire Bank promoted Mary Erickson and Carolyn Good. Erickson is vice president of administration and corporate secretary. She joined the bank in 1990 and previously served as administrative officer and corporate secretary.

Good is banking center manager for the bank’s Hammons Tower location. She has eight years of banking experience, serving most recently as Empire Bank’s training coordinator.

Lelia Voss, assistant vice president for U.S. Bank, successfully completed the U.S. Bank Commercial Certification Program Phase I. She has more than 14 years of banking and finance experience, previously serving as a U.S. Bank relationship manager. She works with commercial clients to customize financial solutions.

Brandon Fisher joined North American Savings Bank as a loan officer in the bank’s Nash-Trigg Mortgage Group. Fisher previously served as a loan officer for Regions Bank.

Community

Drs. Janie Vestal and Judy Dasovich received Outstanding Missourian awards from the Missouri General Assembly. Vestal is a full-time staff physician at The Kitchen Medical and Dental Clinic, and Dasovich is a physician at Missouri State University’s Taylor Health & Wellness Center and volunteer medical director at The Kitchen’s clinic. The awards are based on a recommendation of merit from Rep. Sara Lampe, D-Springfield.

Fair Grove Fire Protection District received a $160,668 grant from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. The district will use the money, part of the Assistance to Firefighters Grant program, to purchase a firefighting-pumper truck. The program is designed to strengthen the nation’s overall level of preparedness and ability to respond to fire and fire-related hazards.

Kevin Naeger is the new chief financial officer for Ozarks Regional YMCA. Naeger has more than eight years of experience in accounting and has bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Drury University. He manages the associations’s accounting staff and oversees all financial aspects.

Education

Evangel University sophomore Tausha Fletcher was elected state treasurer of Phi Beta Lambda at the organization’s State Leadership Conference in Jefferson City. Phi Beta Lambda is the college division of Future Business Leaders of America and has more than 240,000 members. Fletcher will represent the school at the National Leadership Conference in June in Chicago.
