Village Bank added three new employees to its mortgage team. Andy Dunlap is vice president; he has eight years of mortgage experience. Larry Maloney, the new assistant vice president, has five years of experience. Greg Boswell, vice president, has 29 years of experience in all aspects of lending.
Construction
Dale Brown joined Nabholz Construction Corp. as project manager. Brown, who received his MBA from William Woods University in Fulton, has 11 years of experience in the construction industry. He is a member of the International Code Council and the National Association of Certified Home Inspectors.
Design
Janice Marvin joined Transport Graphics as account manager. Marvin has 15 years of retail and sales experience; she co-owned an operated the Springfield O’Sullivan Furniture store before selling her share in 2006.
Education
Five former MSU faculty and staff members were added to the school’s Wall of Fame in Plaster Student Union. The honorees are William Jack Bush, mathematics professor at Greenwood Laboratory School for 35 years; Gene T. Ellis, director of computer services for 23 years; R. Todd Morriss, director of the office of student financial aid for 27 years; Olan Oatman, industrial education and technology professor for 33 years; and Orin Robinson, industrial education professor for 26 years.
Kaitlyn McConnell, a senior at Marshfield High School, was selected as the national Save Our History Student of the Year by The History Channel. McConnell was chosen for the award, which is presented to a student who preserves local history, based on more than a year of work collecting Marshfield history and writing a weekly column published in The Marshfield Mail. She will receive a $5,000 scholarship.
Engineering
Olsson Associates added Mike Pessina as a project engineer. He has nine years of experience in municipal water and wastewater project design, planning and management.
Finance
Sean Prewitt, a senior financial adviser with Ameriprise Financial in Springfield and Harrison, Ark., qualified in the 2006 Circle of Success program and the 2007 Circle of Success Conference. Prewitt was selected as one of the highest-performing financial advisers in the Ameriprise system.
Leann Ray, of Springfield, attended the Examination Management School at the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. Seidman Training Center in Arlington, Va. Ray is a senior assistant bank examiner for the finance division in the Missouri Department of Insurance, Financial Institutions & Professional Registration.
North American Savings Bank added loan officer Terri Snow to its Springfield mortgage division and promoted Christi Bukaty to loan officer. Snow serves as a loan officer for the Scott Sallee team and has six years of experience in mortgage lending. Bukaty, who is on the Nash/Trigg team, has been with NASB for three years and has 15 years of industry experience.
Government
Tim Rickabaugh was named area director for the U.S. Department of Agriculture Rural Development in Springfield, and is responsible for 23 counties reaching from Neosho to West Plains. Rickabaugh previously worked for the state Department of Economic Development and the Community Development Block Grant Program. USDA Rural Development provides loan and grant assistance for housing, community programs and business programs in communities with less than 20,000 people.
Insurance
Ollis & Co. promoted Matt Scheihing to chief operating officer. Scheihing has been with the company for two years, previously serving as general manager. As COO, he monitors the company’s daily operations and sales team.
Larry Jansen of PJC Insurance completed the annual continuing education requirement of the Society of Certified Insurance Counselors. He attended the James K. Ruble Seminar at Lake of the Ozarks in May to maintain his designation. Jansen has 25 years of experience in the insurance industry, including eight years as PJC’s producer.
