University of Missouri Extension named Tim Siebert its first urban program specialist in Greene County. Siebert formerly was senior director of development and public relations for Drury University. He has a bachelor's degree in business administration from Southwest Baptist University and master's and doctoral degrees from University of Arkansas.
Southwest Baptist University professors Kevin W. Hopkins and Bob Glasgow presented at the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics Regional Conference and Exposition in Oklahoma City. The professors presented sessions on using integrated mathematics in the classroom as well as classroom response systems and the use of study cards.
Stan Kasterke joined Ozarks Technical Community College as lead instructor with the Transporation Training Institute, the over-the-road truck-driver training program in the college's Center for Workforce Development. Kasterke has 17 years of experience in the transportation industry.

CFEs must pass a four-part exam on criminology, financial transactions, investigations and legal elements of fraud.
