BRP architect Casey Greer received Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design accreditation. Greer has a bachelor's degree in architecture from Drury University and has spent nine years with the firm, working on hospitality, bank, office and industrial projects.

Two PC Net employees received industry certifications. Lewis Townsend, the company's network operation center manager, received the Cisco Select Certified Partner program's technology certification, while PC Net sales consultant Tabitha Hendricks received Cisco's sales certification.
Community
The Child Advocacy Center Inc. received $214,064 in Youth Opportunities Program tax credits from the Missouri Department of Economic Development. The center provides services to children who have been victims of sexual or severe physical abuse.
Lois Detrick, president of the League of Women Voters of Southwest Missouri, was elected president of the statewide organization, while local chapter Vice President Cindy Stephens was elected state secretary. Their terms end in 2011.
Construction
Dura-Kast Products received certified plant status from the National Precast Concrete Association. The designation recognizes companies operating at certain standards of production and quality control.
Design
CU Community Credit Union won an award for the redesign of its Web site, www.mycucommunity.com, in the 2009 American In-house Design Awards from Graphic Design USA. The award also recognized the credit union's work on its Saveit direct-mail campaign.
Education
Parkview High School students Alex Ndikum and Matt Price took second place in the international DECA competition for "Internet Marketing Management Team Decision Making."
The two were among 14,000 competitors at the marketing education group's international event.
Health Care
Natahle Foster joined Family Medical Walk-in Clinics as human resource manager. Foster is a 2002 graduate of Missouri State University and has seven years of human resources experience in the hospitality industry.
Sales
Kemmi Rusciano joined Winning Sales Habits as leader of the company's small-business consulting group in Springfield. Rusciano has several years of sales experience, including work with The Payroll Co. and Automatic Data Processing Inc.
Michelle Goddard joined Pearson-Kelly Office Products as an account executive. Goddard has more than 18 years of sales and marketing experience, including four years in office-product sales.
