Nicole Norton joined BancorpSouth as Missouri regional sales and marketing coordinator. Norton earned a Bachelor of Journalism and a Master of Arts from the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Journalism.
Tim Franck joined Waddell & Reed as a financial adviser. Franck was previously a sales manager at JP Morgan Chase & Co. for seven years.
Distribution
Ozarks Coca-Cola/Dr Pepper Bottling Co. was named Bottler of the Year by Beverage World magazine.
Grants
The Missouri Department of Economic Development approved Springfield, among seven Missouri communities, for $645,000 in Neighborhood Stabilization Program Funding through the Community Development Block Grant Program. The funding will assist in the redevelopment of foreclosed properties for rent to income-qualified individuals.
Health Care
Dr. Nadeem Husain joined Skaggs Regional Medical Center as an interventional cardiologist. Husain attended medical school at the University of Punjab, Pakistan, and completed his residency at the University of South Alabama. His fellowship in cardiology was completed at the University of Alabama in 2008, and he received additional training in interventional cardiology at the Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit.
Dr. Bedilu Woldaregay joined Skaggs Regional Medical Center as a pulmonologist. Woldaregay attended medical school at Addis Ababa University in Ethiopia. He completed a residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in pulmonary medicine at Interfaith Medical Center in Brooklyn, N.Y.
Dr. Christina Moellering joined CoxHealth at Northside Pediatrics and Adolescents. Moellering, who attended medical school and completed her residency at the University of Missouri-Columbia, is board-eligible in pediatrics. She is also a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
Dr. Rani Radhamma joined St. John's Clinic-Endocrinology. Radhamma completed her medical education at the University of Kerala in India. She completed her residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism at St. Louis University Hospital. She is board certified in internal medicine and has membership in the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists and the Endocrine Society.
Dr. Ashish Sharma joined St. John's Clinic-Psychiatry. Sharma received his medical education at Government Medical College and Hospital in Chandigarh, India. He was previously a member of the Department of Psychiatry at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, Ill. He has membership in the American Psychiatry Association and the Neuroscience Education Institute.
Dr. Deborah La Scola joined St. John's Clinic-Urology. She attended medical school at the University of South Alabama College of Medicine, and while completing her residency at St. Louis University Hospital, she served as chief resident in urology. La Scola has membership in the American Urology Association, the Society for Women in Urology, the Endourological Society, the Sexual Medicine Society and the American Association of Clinical Urologists.
Hospitality
William R. Tirone was promoted by the Hiltons of Branson to assistant general manager of the Branson Convention Center, its hotel and the Hilton Promenade at Branson Landing hotel.
Tirone has served as director of sales and marketing for those three properties since 2005 and has more than 30 years of meeting and hospitality management experience.
Law
Thomas D. Peebles Jr., a shareholder of Carnahan, Evans, Cantwell & Brown PC, was named to the 2010 edition of The Best Lawyers in America in the area of trusts and estates. Peebles earned his bachelor's degree from Missouri State University and his law degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City.
Ryan T. DeBoef joined Husch Blackwell Sanders LLP as an associate in the labor and employment department. He was previously employed at Husch Blackwell Sanders as an associate in the business litigation department in 2005 and 2006, and more recently served as law clerk for U.S. District Judge Richard E. Dorr and as an intern for Missouri Supreme Court Judge Michael A. Wolff.
Nonprofit
The Rev. Jim Oman was named interim executive director of nonprofit Rainbow Network. Oman joined the organization, which serves the poor in Nicaragua, as vice-president of development in 2008.
Real Estate
Several Keller Williams Realty of Greater Springfield associates were honored for outstanding performance by the Greater Heartland Region of Keller Williams Realty International. Adam Graddy was named a top individual for gross commission income. The Trimble Team, which includes Karen Trimble, Debbie Lackey and Wanda Johns, was named a top team for gross commission income. Kyle Fancher was named an outstanding market center administrator. Lee Skiles received the Spirit Award.
