Stephanie Bedinghaus joined Esterly Schneider & Associates Inc. as a project designer. She has a bachelor’s of architecture from the University of Arkansas.

College of the Ozarks was listed in The Princeton Review’s 2011 guidebook “The Best 373 Colleges” based on institutional data, student surveys and opinions of The Princeton Review staff and National College Counselor Advisory Board.

Drury and Missouri State universities were listed in The Princeton Review’s Best Colleges in the Midwest, a Web site feature on 152 universities based on academic excellence and student surveys.

Finance
Tracy Watkins joined Arvest Bank as senior vice president/commercial lender at the National Avenue and Chestnut Expressway branch. Most recently, Watkins was senior vice president of commercial loans at Citizens National Bank. He has a bachelor’s in accounting from Missouri State University and a financial management degree from the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin.

Shawn Barbour joined The Whitlock Co. as an auditor specializing in financial institutions. Barbour, a certified public accountant, most recently worked as credit analyst for Guaranty Bank and has a bachelor’s in business administration from University of Central Missouri.

Empire Bank hired Rick Keeven as commercial business sales officer and promoted Linda Choate to human resources officer. Keeven markets commercial financial products, and Choate assists with employment, training, employee relations and benefits.

Health Care
Heather Swearengin was promoted to director of sales and provider operations at CoxHealth Network. An eight-year Cox employee, Swearengin most recently worked as director of marketing for Cox HealthPlans. She has a bachelor’s in human services from Evangel University.

CoxHealth promoted Teresa Coyan to business development manager from executive assistant in the corporate integrity department. Coyan has a bachelor’s in management from MSU.

Katy Link was promoted to CoxHealth’s contract development manager from underwriting manager. She previously worked as a BKD accountant and has a bachelor’s in accounting from University of Missouri-Kansas City.

Debbie Cain, vice president of operations and director of nursing at Cox Home Parenteral Services, received the National Home Infusion Association 2010 Gene Graves Award for Lifetime Achievement. Cain, a registered nurse, has volunteered for NHIA since 1997. The Grave’s award recognizes an individual who embodies energy, innovative spirit, leadership and commitment to patients.

Law
Joseph Passanise received a Martindale-Hubbell peer review rating of AV Preeminent. Ratings are based on anonymous reviews from members of the bar and judiciary, with an AV rating denoting the highest level of professional excellence.

Media
Louise Henson joined Springfield Business Journal as customer service assistant. Henson assists and educates readers about sbj.net’s transition from a free Web site to a paid model. Henson retired from full-time employment in 2003, but has since performed part-time duties such as serving as technical writer and editor.
