New York to ban new gas-powered vehicles

New York is planning to ban the purchase of new petroleum-powered cars by 2035.

“With sustained state and federal investments, our actions are incentivizing New Yorkers, local governments and businesses to make the transition to electric vehicles," Gov Kathy Hochul said.

New York joins California in moving to ban gas-powered vehicles.
