New York Times tops 1 million digital subscribers

The New York Times announced yesterday its digital paid subscriptions topped 1 million.

The milestone came July 30, about four and a half years after launching its pay model, according to Business Day.

The Times also has 1.1 million print subscribers, who also can access digital news.
