Arthur Ochs Sulzberger Jr., publisher of The New York Times, is handing over the reins to his son.
Arthur Gregg Sulzberger, 37, is scheduled to become publisher on Jan. 1.
The younger Sulzberger, who is known as A.G., became deputy publisher of The New York Times about a year ago. The elder Sulzberger, 66, who will stay on as chairman. He's been publisher since 1992.
