The first lady's communications director will replace Sarah Huckabee Sanders as White House press secretary.
Stephanie Grisham will continue leading communications for Melania Trump as she takes on the White House press secretary role. She'll also become President Donald Trump's communications director, a post that's been vacant since the March exit of Bill Shine.
“A lot of people wanted the job,” Trump said. “She’s here, she knows everybody, she actually gets along with the media very well.”
