The form is available at Nixon’s Web site, ago.mo.gov.
Anyone may use the form to report information on an employer engaging in improper activity. Violations could include employing undocumented workers, failing to carry workers’ compensation liability and misclassifying employees as independent contractors, according to a news release from Nixon’s office.
“This conduct drives wages down, harms law-abiding Missouri businesses and places a greater burden on local and state taxpayers,” Nixon said in the release.
The form typically takes about five to 10 minutes to complete. Nixon’s office will review complaints and forward them to the appropriate local, state or federal agency and provide assistance to that agency as needed.[[In-content Ad]]
