Newly elected St. Louis Mayor Cara Spencer has named a new chair of the city's economic development arm.
Nancy Hawes, Spencer's chief of staff, has taken over for Neal Richardson as chair of the St. Louis Development Corp.
Richardson remains president and CEO of the SLDC, a nonprofit that has a nine-member board.
