A coronavirus stimulus proposal introduced yesterday by Senate Republicans could mean a second round of the Paycheck Protection Program.
Under the proposal, businesses of 300 employees or less would be eligible for forgivable PPP loans if they experienced a 35% drop in one quarter of 2020 compared with the same period in 2019.
The proposal also includes legal liability protections from COVID-19-related claims.
