New St. Louis minimum wage goes into effect

St. Louis' new minimum wage of $10 per hour for most jobs goes into effect today.

The new wage is above the minimum of $7.70 per hour in the rest of the state.

The wage is scheduled to rise again on Jan. 1, 2018, to $11 per hour.
