A hot water pipe that burst over the weekend caused flooding in most of the building’s first and second floors, according to a school news release.
The dedication will be rescheduled after damage is assessed and a new completion date for the center is set.
College classes and day care scheduled to begin this fall at the center will go on as planned.
Construction of the 15,000-square-foot facility began in September 2006. It will include preschool and college classrooms, offices, support spaces, parent resources and a community room.
