New online tool connects businesses to support

Posted online
A free tool has been created to help entrepreneurs and small-business owners connect to support organizations across Missouri.

MOSourceLink acts as a referral network for businesses that are seeking assistance. By calling (866) 870-6500 or visiting www.mosourcelink.com, business owners can submit information about their needs; the system then researches the resources available to meet those needs, directs businesses to appropriate support organizations and conducts a follow-up with businesses to ensure satisfaction, according to a news release.

The program launched this month with 221 resource partners.

MOSourceLink is a joint effort of Missouri Technology Corp., the Kauffman Foundation, state organizations and private donors, according to the release.

Founding board members include the University of Missouri Extension, the Missouri Small Business and Technology Development Centers and the Missouri Technology Corp.
