A host of new emojis were announced this week by the Unicode Consortium, the nonprofit that oversees the images.
The list comprises 59 new emojis and variants that total 230 options.
Included are emojis for interracial couples, falafel, a hearing aid, a sloth, a waffle and a drop of blood meant to represent menstruation.
