The new CEO of Branson entertainment company Itec Attractions Inc. has succeeded his father in the role.
Jeremy Bluto started this month as CEO of Itec Attractions, which operates Branson’s Imax theater, The Little Opry Theatre, McFarlain’s Family Restaurant, Florentina’s Ristorante Italiano, The Shoppes at Imax, Heroes Tastes and Taps, and Branson Meadows Cinema 11, according to a news release.
Jeremy succeeds Paul Bluto, 96, who remains board chair.
“After more than three decades leading this company, I’m proud to pass the reins to Jeremy,” Paul said in the release. “His vision and energy are exactly what Itec needs as we move into the next chapter.”
It's a return to full-time work at Itec Attractions for Jeremy, who was the first member of the second generation of the Bluto family to join the company in 1998, serving as human resources manager and assistant general manager of McFarlain’s Family Restaurant. Jeremy recently retired from Homeland Security Investigations after working in federal law enforcement since 2005.
Jeremy has been on the Itec Attractions board since 2009, and officials said he's been active in company operations.
Jeremy additionally will work with niece Tanya Bluto, who was named president of Itec Attractions in 2021.
“Jeremy’s leadership experience and deep understanding of our company’s mission make him the right choice to guide us into the future,” Tanya said in the release. “This is a full-circle moment, and I’m excited to work alongside him.”
