New cancer center to open in STL after three years of construction

A new cancer center is slated to open this month in St. Louis after three years of construction.

Siteman Cancer Center is planning an opening on Sept. 30 for the nine-story, 657,250-square-foot building on Washington University's medical school campus. The building reportedly has had a budget of $280 million.

The building will be solely dedicated to outpatient cancer care.
