New $400M plant coming to STL

A $400 million plant is on the way in St. Louis.

ICL Group was selected for a $197 million federal grant to help pay for the planned 120,000-square-foot facility at its existing campus in St. Louis.

It's part of a $2.8 billion nationwide initiative announced Wednesday by the Biden administration to boost production of electric vehicle batteries and minerals used to build them.

Only the government "acts" this way.......spend taxpayers money on buildings that do not even have anyone lined up to occupy them. "Forcing" people/businesses to traverse a re-determined path. Insane. Term limits and repeal of the 17th amendment look better all the time.
