Netflix reported first quarter subscriber growth that slowed compared with a year earlier.
The streaming service now has 208 million global subscribers, with 4 million of those coming on in the first quarter. That was lower than the company's own projection of 210 million subscribers at the end of the quarter.
First quarter profits rose to $1.7 billion from $709 million a year earlier.
