Netflix launches in Cuba

"Bienvenida, Cuba!"

That's the tweet Netflix produced Monday announcing its expansion into Cuba - one of the first American companies to take advantage of President Barack Obama's edict to reopen diplomatic ties between the United States and its longtime foe, according to USA Today.

Part of its global expansion effort, Netflix also plans to expand into China and Japan.
