Nestle CEO Mark Schneider is stepping down after eight years with the company.
Laurent Freixe, the company's executive vice president and CEO of its Latin American division, is slated to succeed Schneider as CEO on Sept. 1.
Schneider was the first external hire for the job in nearly 100 years. Freixe first joined Nestle in 1986.
