Nearly 60 hair relaxer lawsuits against L'Oreal and other companies have been consolidated in an Illinois federal court.
The lawsuits allege the products can cause cancer and other health problems.
Subsidiaries of India-based companies Godrej SON Holdings Inc. and Dabur International Ltd. also are named in lawsuits.
