NBC News fired “Today” show host Matt Lauer over alleged inappropriate sexual behavior in the workplace.
"It represented, after serious review, a clear violation of our company's standards. As a result, we've decided to terminate his employment," NBC News Chairman Andy Lack said in a statement of a "detailed complaint."
Lack indicated the incident was the first complaint against Lauer's behavior in the more than 20 years he's been with NBC News.
