The NBA has been shaken as two federal gambling indictments became public.
One indictment alleges illegal betting on games using insider information. The other is related to allegations of an illegal poker ring in which Mafia families stole more than $7 million from victims.
Chauncey Billups, head coach of the Portland Trail Blazers, and other NBA figures were arrested in connection with the gambling schemes.
The indictments were unveiled just two days after the NBA's new season began.
