National retailer signs on for stores at Springfield airport

Posted online
A national airport retailer will open two stores in Springfield-Branson National Airport when its new midfield terminal opens early next year.

The Paradies Shops - which Airport Revenue News has named the Best Airport Retailer for the last 13 years - has signed on to open in the airport, according to a news release.

The Paradies Shops will open two stores in Springfield: CNBC News and Route 66 News and Gifts.

CNBC News will have an Internet station, a recharge station for laptops and handhelds, and a Read & Return Program, which allows travelers to buy a book, read it and return it to receive half of their money back.

Route 66 News and Gifts sells news, magazines, books, convenience items, snacks and souvenirs. Vendor fairs will be held to give local retailers the chance to feature their products in Route 66 News and Gifts.

The Paradies Shops has more than 450 stores in about 70 markets in the U.S. and Canada.[[In-content Ad]]
