Posted online
The construction at National Avenue and James River Freeway will be completed this weekend, according to a Missouri Department of Transportation news release.

The MoDOT-termed "diverging diamond interchange" will become operational July 12.

The project, which cost $7.5 million according to previous SBJ coverage, will allow three lanes in each direction on the National Avenue bridge that crosses the freeway as well as additional lanes on the freeway near National.

The bridge will close at 9 p.m. July 9 for "necessary last-minute work," and will reopen to the public at 4 a.m. July 12, according to the release.

Access to CoxHealth will be available from Primrose Street during the weekend.[[In-content Ad]]
