House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi's all-day speech yesterday was the longest continuous speech in the House since at least 1909.
Pelosi was protesting a budget deal that does not include protections for Dreamers, undocumented immigrants who were brought to the United States when they were children.
While the move is used in the Senate to block or delay legislation, there isn't a House equivalent. She used her unlimited, "magic" minute, available only to party leaders, to tell stories of Dreamers.
