My Mentor - Be a Sherpa to Others

Jim Anderson, former Director of Marketing and Public Affairs at CoxHealth, says a former superintendent of schools in Jefferson City made a significant impact as a mentor. Anderson learned leadership skills from the way his mentor treated people and his humble demeanor. He says the mentor’s role is, “absolutely critical,” though he prefers the term “sherpa.”
