Elon Musk has filed suit against OpenAI and its CEO, Sam Altman.
The breach-of-contract suit alleges the company and Altman put profits and commercial interests in developing artificial intelligence ahead of the public good.
“OpenAI has been transformed into a closed-source de facto subsidiary of the largest technology company, Microsoft," the lawsuit reads.
Musk exited OpenAI's board in 2018.
