Tesla CEO Elon Musk purchased nearly $10 million worth of the electric vehicle maker's shares, according to a Tuesday filing.
The purchase brings his ownership in Tesla to about 20 percent. He's the largest shareholder of the company.
Tesla announced earlier this month Musk intends to buy another $20 million in shares in a direct transaction with the company.
