Tesla CEO Elon Musk has become the world's second-richest person, according to the the Bloomberg Billionaires Index.
Musk's net worth hit $128 billion on Monday. He ranked 35th on the index in January.
With a net worth of $127.7 billion, Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates moved to the No. 3 spot on the index. Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos leads the list with a net worth of roughly $182 billion.
