Murney sales top $197 million

Murney Associates, Realtors, of Springfield reports residential closed sales of $197,319,989 for the year-to-date, January-July 2001. According to a news release from the firm, the figure is 34 percent above its closed sales figure for the same period last year.

Murney Associate's closed sales volume for the entire year 2000 $252,093,212 earned the firm a ranking as the 97th largest privately owned independent realty company in the United States. The rankings are awarded and listed in the REAL Trends 500, an annual report edition of REAL Trends Inc.

Murney also ranked 278th among all realty companies in the United States by closed transaction sides, which represent either the listing or selling portion of a closed residential transaction.
