A one-day Lorman Education Services seminar, "Multistate Taxation Issues for Missouri Businesses," will be presented 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Sept. 24 at the Clarion Hotel, 3333 S. Glenstone, according to materials from Lorman.
Registration is 8-8:30 a.m., and the session includes two 10-minute breaks and an hour lunch (not included in the seminar cost).
Designed for industrial and business controllers, chief financial officers, tax managers and officers, accountants and enrolled agents, this one-day program offers detailed information on tax issues related to multistate transactions, as well as continuing education credit.
Critical issues to be addressed include
?The concept of nexus and how it is applied to income, franchise, and sales and use taxes.
?The income taxation of multistate businesses.
?Sales and use tax on interstate sales.
?Property tax apportionment issues.
?Unclaimed property liabilities.
