Baron Design & Associates is the architect for the renovation of an unoccupied 62,000-square-foot former factory into a multifamily residential development in Washington, Mo. The name of the owner-developer was not disclosed due to a confidentiality agreement. Colvin Jones Davis is the mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineer and Silverhill Co. is the structural engineer. A general contractor has not yet been selected. Renovations will maintain the structure's original 1924 brick façade and transform the building into multifamily living space with amenities such as a library, computer area, community room, dining area and exercise facility. The project is to be completed in the fall.
