Special counsel Robert Mueller trimmed more attorneys from his investigation of potential ties between Russia and President Donald Trump’s campaign.
Two prosecutors who had been detailed to the investigation for the past year returned to their regular duties at the Justice Department. Two other attornies left over the summer.
Time reports the exits may indicate Mueller is winding down all or portions of the investigation.
