Mueller testifies before Congress

Special counsel Robert Mueller yesterday testified before Congress on his report into Russian interference in the 2016 election.

“It was not a hoax,” Mueller said of Russia's involvement, noting the country interfered in “sweeping and systematic” fashion.

Mueller also said President Donald Trump was not exonerated of potential crimes.

His testimony has been criticized, as Democrats were hoping his appearance could help impeachment efforts.
