Springfield-based stainless steel manufacturer Paul Mueller Co. (OTC: MUEL) boosted profits in 2025, the company announced March 27.
Mueller Co.'s profits during the year came to $34.7 million, a 16.9% increase from $29.7 million in 2024, according to a news release.
Revenue for the year was $287 million, a roughly 15% increase from 2024's $248.6 million.
"2025 marked another year of strong execution and meaningful progress for Paul Mueller Co.," President and CEO David Moore said in the company's annual report. "Each of our three manufacturing segments increased revenue, and each increased profitability by a larger percentage than the revenue increase. Our largest segment, industrial equipment, made the largest dollar contribution to these increases."
During the fourth quarter, net income rose by 18.9% to $13.2 million from $11.1 million a year earlier.
As of Dec. 31, Mueller Co.'s assets were $214.3 million, and its backlog was $243.6 million, according to the release.
The company's over-the-counter stock closed March 27 at $414 per share. The stock's 52-week range is $186 to $575 per share.
