Springfield-based stainless steel manufacturer Paul Mueller Co. (OTC: MUEL) is transitioning one of its top leadership roles.
Dan Winters was tapped as CFO, effective Dec. 5, according to a news release. He succeeds the retiring Ken Jeffries, who has held the CFO role since 2014.
“Ken has been instrumental in the company’s progress over the past 11 years. His leadership and commitment have helped drive many of our accomplishments, and we wish him every success in his retirement,” Mueller Co. President and CEO David Moore said in the release. "We are equally fortunate to welcome Dan, whose experience in our industry and community will be an asset to our organization. I look forward to what we will achieve together."
Winters joins Mueller Co. from Springfield-based Hiland Dairy Foods Co. LLC, for which he served as CFO the past five years, according to his LinkedIn profile. The release indicates Winters has more than 30 years of experience in the manufacturing sector.
In the third quarter, Mueller Co. reported $4.9 million in net income on net sales of $61.4 million, according to past reporting.
The company's over-the-counter stock closed yesterday at $439.40, compared with a 52-week range of $184.06 to $575 per share.
