The MU School of Medicine received $16 million in federal aid toward its Rural Scholars Program.
This money will assist the program in recruiting youth from rural communities to engage in health care opportunities.
The program will take a mobile simulation van on visits to 80 high schools over the next four years throughout the state. The mobile simulation was purchased with a previous grant the program had received.
